Nine West really stepped it up (har har, pun intended) with this shoe. We heave feathers, we have sequins, we have a T-strap, and we have festive purple and substantial heel height. Those are my five favorite things in a shoe! I am ordering these immediately so that they ship on 10/25 as stated on the website, which means that I’ll have them in time for this year’s round of holiday fêtes come November. SCORE!
Obsession:platforms
I’m obsessed with shoes. OBSESSED. Specifically heels, then boots, then flats…no, I just have a shoe obsession, period. I will pick a pair of heels over purses, clothes, jewelry..unless of course it has diamonds, i’ll take it. I’ve had a shoe obsession since I was very young. When I was in 5th grade my uncle bought me these black platform lace-up rubber boots from London to match with my ugly green uniform, I got obsessed with them that I wore them every single day until I grew out of them. So to narrow down my shoe obsession, my biggest obsession in my shoe obsessions are platform heels. Once I see one that I really like, I will save money until I get it (if only money grew on trees). One that I recently bought, which I gave to myself as a birthday present (I do it every year..don’t judge..last years was Lita by Jeffrey Campbell) was a “70′s” styled “estate blue” colored platform by Jessica Simpson called “Pai”. (by the way, I just checked, $20 less from when I first bought it less than a month ago.. of course -___-) When I first laid eyes on it I absolutely knew that I had to get it. At first I was a little bit skeptical since it was by Jessica Simpson, but when I tried it on they turned out to be one of the most comfortable heels that I own.
We are professional fashion team
We’d like to thank all the readers who have stuck with us throughout the last four years. It was your comments, emails and continued presence that have kept us going for so long. We’d also like to thank our guest blogger E, who has helped us immensely in the last few months through this difficult transition period. It’s been an unexpectedly rewarding experience, which will always have a special place in our hearts. A little over 4 years ago, we had no idea what blogs were, and we certainly didn’t know fashion blogs will become such a big phenomenon.
We didn’t really know where we were heading when we started our fashion team, but it became something we loved. But alas, as hard as we racked our brains, we couldn’t come up with a vision of where it can go. And so, we’ve decided that it was time to make a graceful exit and let our fashion team go.We started blogging back in 2004, when we began college. We wanted a simple girly website where we can share our thoughts on fashion with other fashion lovers. We finally settled on blogspot, because we were both technically challenged and it was easy. It was really exciting at first. We religiously stalked our blog and our heart would skip a beat whenever we get a comment. It gave us a warm and fuzzy feeling each time. We just graduated last summer and since then, we’ve been struggling to carry our blog into the ‘real world’ with us.
When you’re a student, you’re surrounded by inspirations and you have all the time in the world to take it in and read up on the latest styles and celebrity trends. In the real world, you get so caught up with life that you barely have time to stop and admire your surroundings and be inspired and excited by it. Now don’t get us wrong, we still love to drool over gorgeous dresses and new bags and debate over the merits of the latest trends- just not as often anymore.
Blogging started to become a chore instead of something we loved doing. That was when we knew that it was time to move on, even though it took us a few months of thinking and debating with ourselves and each other to realize it, and another few months overcoming self denial to act on it. It’s not easy to give up something we’ve been doing for the last four years, knowing that once we stop, there is no going back.
Step to it
Given the choice, all my shoes would be red soled, but until that Euro Millions win, I’ll happily settle for Kurt Geiger if their new collection is anything to go by!

Happy Monday guys and gals! Hope you had a fantastic weekend! Mine was nothing special…boo. It was one of those Quickbooks, designing, deep hair conditioning, nail painting, and exfoliating kind of weekends…what a combo (mind you I didn’t complete all those tasks at the same time, ha)! Anywho! Today I bring you a fall inspired Dress and Dwell! Although it is still hot as Hades down here, the season has changed my friends! It is FALL! I’ll admit I am happy about cooling down! However for me, Fall means Winter is coming…and I HATE cold weather! I feel like yelling, “Winter is coming, Winter is coming!” Oh well…not much I can do about that! SO let’s just celebrate the change in season and the addition of jackets and boots in our wardrobe and a more muted and cozy color palette! Hooray. Enjoy!
